US Aircraft Expo Returns to Raleigh Exec for 2021
11/10/2020
SANFORD, N.C. -- US Aircraft Expo, a regional showcase for general aviation aircraft, will return to the Raleigh Exec Jetport on April 2-3, 2021, after a successful inaugural event held earlier this year.
Many of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers and dealers use the expo to exhibit their latest models during a free weekend event that includes an ownership seminar to answer common questions people have about purchasing and owning an aircraft. Those topics include financing, insurance and tax considerations.
Events are held at locations around the United States. This year's expo at Raleigh Exec was the only one scheduled on the East Coast between Naples, Fla., and White Plains, N.Y.
Brian Mackin, who organizes the US Aircraft Expo, said he was thrilled with the turnout in June -- even in a modified event to guarantee everyone's safety and comply with state guidelines during the pandemic.
"It's not an easy task as the mandates are constantly changing, but our first obligation is the safety of our attendees and participants," Mackin said. "That said, we are grateful to have the support from the aviation community to continue our efforts in presenting the latest advancements in general aviation. We look forward to returning to Raleigh next year."
While recognizing that life remains fluid in the pandemic, Airport Director Bob Heuts is looking forward to hosting the event once again. "The last expo wasn't exactly typical and the next one may not be either," Heuts said. "But the US Aircraft Expo is a valuable event for the aviation community and a great opportunity to showcase our airport and the entire Triangle region."
Information about the US Aircraft Expo is available online at usaircraftexpo.com. Details about the April expo at Raleigh Exec will be announced as they are available on jetport social media.
