EVENTS @ the jetport

As a comunity service and a way to promote interst in aviation, RALEIGH EXEC and the Wings of Carolina Flying Club offer a number of special events at the jetport throughout the year. Here are some currently planned:

   
ongoing Sightseeing Flights
Sighteeing flights may be arranged for up to three people, a perfect way to introduce children to flight, shoot interesting photographs or simply get a different perspective of the area. Contact the jetport manager at 919.776.2939.
   
ongoing Aviation Field Trips
School, scouting or other community groups visit throughout the year for educational field trips tailored to the needs of each group. Visits can include facility tours, a close-up look at aircraft and even sightseeing flights. Contact the jetport manager at 919.776.2939.

FAMILY DAY @ the jetport
Fourth-annual festival of aviation features free plane rides for children ages 8 through 17 by the Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles, historic and military aircraft, medical helicopters and special exhibits. Food and other activities for children will be available. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
